Municipal Court

The Municipal Court Office performs administrative functions for all traffic tickets and misdemeanor arrests made by the City Police Department. The court office maintains records of all cases, prepares dockets for court in traffic and non-traffic cases, and issues subpoenas to all witnesses for trials. We maintain the records of these cases and forward all necessary records to the Department of Public Safety and mail finger print records and final dispositions to the FBI. The court office collects fines, court cost and restitution as the court imposes them.

The Talladega Municipal Court is in session on Tuesdays starting promptly at 1:30 p.m. Cases will not be continued or rescheduled on the day of court. The Court will not discuss warrants over the telephone. If you would like to obtain a warrant or if you suspect you have a warrant, you must appear in the Court Office during normal business hours with a government issued photo ID.
