The May/June exhibition in the main gallery at Heritage Hall Museum is the "Talladega County School Arts" exhibition. This art show is a collection of some of the finest work produced in the elementary schools in Talladega County over the course of the school year. It is made up of drawings, paintings, print making, collage and assembledges. The county superintendent, Dr. Cindy Elsberry, will present the ribbons to the award winners at the public reception, Thursday, May 15 at 4:30 P.M. at Heritage Hall Museum, 200 South St. East, Talladega.
Arts Camp for Kids First session - June 9-13,
Second session - July 7-11.
Tuition is $100 per student.
Arts Camp for Kids is an arts enrichment summer day camp for elementary age students (7-13). Students study drawing, painting, pottery, sculpture, dance, drama and music. All instructors are professional artists or certified teachers. Now in its 18th year, it is by far the most successful arts program the museum offers.
