Talk of Talladega Episode Features Tena Turner

(Talladega, AL)  The next episode of Talk of Talladega with City Manager Seddrick Hill Sr. will feature Tena Turner, owner of T.B Turner Interior Design and Somerset House Bed & Breakfast. Viewers will have an opportunity to take a virtual  tour of Ms. Turner’s shop as well as her bed and breakfast and learn how her business thrives in Talladega. 

The talk show, which was created by the City of Talladega to highlight local business and industry leaders and entrepreneurs, is posted on the City of Talladega Government Facebook page and other platforms twice a month. The episode featuring Ms. Turner will be posted September 20, 2022.

Local leaders recently featured on the program have included John Allen of Allen Architectural Metals, Inc., April Clark of Miss April Fashion Girl, Jason DiSalvo of Top Trails OHV Park, Greg Raines of CMP Marksmanship Park and Tara Logel of Cookies with a Twist.  

“While many people realize that Talladega is a hub for regional tourism, few people understand how many international tourists pass through our city. People from around the world have come to Talladega and stayed at Ms. Turner’s bed and breakfast,” said Mr. Hill. “Talk of Talladega has given me an opportunity to increase pride in our community by highlighting Ms. Turner and other business leaders who help make our city great.” 

Executive Producer/Public Information Officer Mary Sood stated, “The program is one part of the city’s multifaceted initiative to promote economic development and improve the quality of life in Talladega. In addition to highlighting local business leaders, Talk of Talladega with City Manager Seddrick Hill Sr. keeps viewers apprised of opportunities in business and industry and showcases Talladega workmanship.”
