Talladega College gives $5000 Christmas donation

(Talladega, AL) City Manager Seddrick Hill Sr. recently received a $5000.00 Christmas on the Square donation from Talladega College President Gregory J. Vincent.

“As an integral member of the community, Talladega College is thrilled to be a sponsor of Christmas on the Square," Dr. Vincent said. "This event brings joy to so many families and highlights our entire city."

“Financial support from Talladega College helped to make Christmas on the Square 2022 a great success,” said City Manager Seddrick Hill Sr.   “Also, I was pleased that several Talladega College students served as volunteers, helping to make the weekend more memorable for children who came from near and far to enjoy ice skating, Santa’s Workshop, movies, train rides and other activities.”

Christmas on the Square 2022 sponsors and contributors included First Bank of Alabama, Talladega Superspeedway, InSite Engineering, Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind, The Daily Home, Talladega College, State of Alabama Tourism Department, Alabama Power, Greater Talladega and Lincoln Area Chamber of Commerce, Talladega County Commission, CMP Marksmanship Park, Neel-Schaffer, Coosa Valley Electric, TOP Trails OHV Park, Mitchell Mowing, Ms. Evelyn A.
