Coed Youth Basketball registration now open

(Talladega, AL) Calling all young athletes! Youth Basketball Registration is open now through November 7, 2025, for Coed Development Ages 6-8, 9-10, and 11-12 at the Spring Street Recreation Center. In addition, a Coed Youth Development Skills Camp will be held at the center on Saturdays only. The age control date is September 1, 2025.
“Whether a child is just starting out or dreaming of joining the pros, the Spring Street Recreation Center is a great place to boost confidence; gain experience; learn and hone new skills; and have fun on the court,” added Interim City Manager Danny Warwick.
“Our young athletes are so excited about playing basketball, and everyone has also been thrilled about recent renovations at the Spring Street Recreation Center. We’ve painted and put in beautiful new flooring,” said Parks and Recreation Department Director Summer Ammons. “Fortunately, we’ve made exciting changes for all ages. Teens and adults are raving about the Nautilus Room, which has been completely renovated.”
The registration fee for Coed Basketball is $75. The Coed Youth Development Skills Camp fee is $35. Registration is open during normal business hours. Please bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate.
