Daily Home sponsorship helped make Christmas on the Square a huge success

Daily Home sponsorship helped make Christmas on the Square a huge success

(Talladega, AL) The City of Talladega’s Christmas on the Square 2023 drew thousands to Talladega’s historic downtown area. Talladega residents and visitors from surrounding communities gathered to enjoy free ice skating, Christmas movies, Santa photos, crafts, holiday train rides, food trucks and more. City Manager Seddrick Hill Sr. credited the Daily Home, a Title Sponsor, for helping to increase awareness of the annual event.

“Each year, I like to remind the community to thank our Christmas on the Square sponsors for helping to bring so much joy to our community,” said City Manager Seddrick Hill Sr. “Thanks to the Daily Home’s sponsorship, we were able to publicize Christmas on the Square extensively and consistently. As a result, families came from near and far to participate in our many free activities, shop at vendor booths and enjoy Talladega’s beautiful downtown Christmas decorations.”

Daily Home Marketing Advertising Director Pam Isbell said, “The most beautiful things are not associated with money; they are memories and moments like those that are made at the Christmas on the Square event. We are honored to be a sponsor of this annual event.”

Public Information Officer Mary Sood, who headed the 2023 Christmas on the Square committee, said, “In addition to the generous support that we received from sponsors, we were fortunate to have dozens of volunteers who worked with city employees to help make Christmas on the Square one of the highlights of the holiday season. Chamber Ambassadors, Talladega Main Street, 100 Men Support Group, Eastern Star, PHA and other organizations and individuals provided indispensable assistance."

Christmas on the Square Title Sponsors were Georgia-Pacific and the Daily Home.
