Board of Adjustments and Appeals:
The Board of Adjustments and Appeals is composed of five members and two supernumerary members. Members serve staggered three year terms. Supernumerary members are only allowed to vote if a quorum of regular members cannot be obtained.
The Board hears and rules on appeals from the enforcement of and special exceptions to the City of Talladega Zoning Ordinance (Ordinance No. 1120), and authorizes variances from that zoning ordinance when not contrary to the public interest.
Meeting Time: Meetings are held the second Thursday of each month as needed or at the call of the Chair.
